Random Mumblings About Life

Okay, I know I have been blogging a lot about my Craveboxes lately and realized I might have become a little obsessed with them. Craveboxes are just one of my little treats to myself and to my family to try stuff that we might not otherwise try! I promise I am going to start blogging about other stuff soon too! I blog around working full time, being a full time mama with two kids both active in scouting activities and my daughter is involved in school activities such as band. I'm not joking when I say we keep busy in all my social media about me tag lines.

My life is constant momentum, always rushing forward with little time to just sit enjoy and relax. So that is what I did last week, however I am feeling it this week! I took a week off work...I did little to nothing at home. I dabbled on my blog a bit, some of my online stuff but not any more than I would have if I had been working. I cooked a bit, barely cleaned, and picked the kids up from school in the afternoons. My totally awesome husband took the kids to school each day and even made me breakfast many of the days in bed! So lots of TV watching. Ohh I found a new favorite show, Grimm. I just finished season 1 and though I usually wait for the current season to come out on DVD I am totally tempted to go find it online and watch part of the current season. It puts a really interesting spin on some of our old favorite fairy tales!

So after having a totally relaxing do nothing week, I am totally feeling it this week! I'm not old yet, but my body feels like it is. Tons of muscle aches and bones cracking...and seriously when did those pains our mothers and doctors always assured us were just "growing pains" turn into adult old age pains. Hahaha! My muscles, they are feeling it the most. My body is hating any kind of bending, stretching, etc. I guess next time I take time off to do nothing, I should still go out and take walks and go up and down my stairs multiple times. We live on a second story and I work in a three story building so between the two am usually going up and down stairs 4-5 times at a minimum but usually more. During my week off, maybe once a day if that. Never again, even if I just go to the stairs and go up and down them a few times that would have been a big help!

Now that my week is over my head is racing with all this stuff I coulda, shoulda and didn't do. Projects I have been wanting to work on but never have the time. Ya know what though. It was worth it and I wouldn't go back and change a thing! (well maybe taking the stairs like I said before...but ehhh I dunno!)
